I went to school in five towns and worked in four continents. Everywhere, I made up stories. Now I put them down on paper.
My books are on Amazon India’s 100 Children’s Books to Read in a Lifetime, and have won several awards, including the SCBWI Crystal Kite Award 2015 for India, Middle East and Asia for Petu Pumpkin Tooth Troubles, the Comic Con India 2015 Best Publication for Children award for Bookasura – The Adventures of Bala and the Book-eating Monster and the RivoKids Hindustan Times Parents and Kids Choice Award for Petu Pumpkin TiffinThief and Junior Kumbhakarna.
Bookasura was on the Crossword Book Award 2016 shortlist. The sequel to Bookasura, Koobandhee – The Adventures of Bala and the Book-barfing Monster, was published in 2016.
Petu Pumpkin Cheater Peter was shortlisted for the Neev Book Award 2019.
Ramanujan: From Zero to Infinity, my latest release, is probably my funnest.
When I am not cooking up stories or dreaming of food, I cycle around aimlessly on the streets of Bangalore.
